This
course will introduce information seekers to the principles of networking
personal computers and planning network services. You will explore
the designs that networks are based on and the methods and equipment
that allow you to transmit data to the farthest regions of the world
as well as send your neighbor a message. You will be able to use the
correct terminology when talking about the selection of network types
and necessary components. This will also involve learning about the
installation of the network operating system (NOS), and dealing with
maintenance and security issues involved with the people who use the
network.
